I began my relationship with B Chic Fashions when I walked into the store in 2015 with an issue: I ordered a dress online at a different store, but the dress did not fit. B Chic Fashions owner, Andree Charonis, was kind enough to allow me to exchange my dress for one of her dresses. To this day, we both wonder why she did that. But one thing I do know was that was the first day that Andree took a chance on me, and it paid off. Since that moment, I have transformed from a loyal customer to now a trusted employee and member of the B Chic Fashions team. In 2017, I began working as a Brand Associate. My duties were to help manage the store and assist with clients, especially during peak season — Prom and Weddings. Basic sales associate skills.

One day, I decided that I wanted to do more. I began applying my graphic design skills to create website headers to increase website engagement and aesthetics, where I would consider the beginning of my passion for freelance graphic design.

During the summer of 2019, I focused a lot on increasing online engagement and marketing. I reached out to potential influencers that we could reach out to post our custom dresses and lead the strategic release of our new line of custom affordable bridesmaid gowns. I was the Creative Director in the production of a collaboration with Jovani Fashions for a seasonal trunk show, coordinated with other vendors to supply food, hair, makeup, and decor. Additionally, as a professional photographer, I produced editorial photographs and videos for Instagram, that were featured on the B Chic Fashions account and the official Jovani Fashions page.

Achievements

Increased overall engagement by 30% via three weekly posts, daily Instagram stories, SEO, and partnerships with influencers

Advised the launch of new service of custom bridesmaid dresses on social media channels via targeted Facebook Ads

Directed a trunk show collaboration with Jovani Fashions and 15 other vendors as the creative director, saving $10,000 in costs 

Crafted a monthly e-newsletter via MailChimp to update subscribers of new arrivals, promotions, and new services

Increased website traffic by 15% by creating 25+ digital graphics and website headers with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
